BAP Usage/Install Question

Hello:

I hope this doesn’t sound dumb. But, I’m getting an early jump and save myself some time and installing a Kenne Bell BAP for an upcoming ported blower install on my daily driver. So, my question is, can I install the BAP without having to use it until my ported blower install or can I? I’m assuming I’ll need a tune using the BAP, correct? Or can I just make all the wire connections to the BAP and not connect the power wire until I’m ready to use the BAP?

I hope this makes sense. So, basically in a nut shell, am I going to mess up anything or hurt something by pre-installing the BAP?

Thank you in advance and sorry if this is a repeated question.

Yep, it will be fine because I did the same thing. I installed my bap for future support of a ported blower as well and haven't had any problems. I have it hooked up fully, and wired to stay on all the time (hobbs switch bypassed). I have the control dial turned all the way down.
