Kinda hard to tell if stuff has been posted when you can't search for forum.

Ford say they didn't permit the advertisement, and the ad agancy, Ogilvy, say they didn't allow the go-ahead for the email campaign. Hmm... makes me think that Ford thought it was a great idea and so too did Ogilvy. It's not uncommon for this to happen - it stirs up alot of publicity which then makes the advertising campaign a huge success. Just remember to deny any involvement to save ur arse.
