I just wanted to get a ballpark 1/4 time for a 700 hp/tq 13'gt500. Stock rims and tires. Thank you.

Alot of variants here so we will go with a perfect DA and Driver. I would say 10.9-11.1 at 130ish. Maybe a tad quicker. You will be SEVERELY traction limited. Someone with more experience will chime in..

Stock tires are a waste of time at the strip at stock power, especially with 700+.
I'm sure the trap mph will bel impressive, 60' not so much.

Also and this is a real warning, do NOT power shift 1-2 with that power on stock tires, it can get loose quick.
Save your entry fee toward some drag radials!

What did you invest in then, i.e. which brand DR's?

He and I both have 315/35/20 Nitto NT05Rs, I ran [email protected] w/1.76 60' on those tires, 4.10s and a tune only. I was very impressed with those Nittos, WAY better than previous Nitto DRs, if I had one more pass I would have got a 10.xx no engine mods! With 700+rwhp I'd assume you will trap 130-135mph but ET is unpredictable.

Ya I'm running the 315 NT05RS, there amazing. I dead hook from a 20 roll, I get my tires at cost through my shop, so I only paid 610 dollars for both

If you want a WTF moment, put the stock tires on for a day and see the difference once you're used to the DRs :banana:

Cool...I've read your responses from this and other posts, and am wondering how long the DR's last? I will drive around 5K a year...will I need to replace them every 2000 miles?

I'm my previous experience: yes.

I mean, you can still drive on them no problem, but the good, sticky rubber gets wasted off within 2k miles of street driving.

What is the fastest time anyone has posted with street tires on stock sized rims? I was thinking that hp above a certain amount might be totally worthless.

What is the fastest time anyone has seen on street tires and stock rim? Adding extra horsepower might be totally irrelevant above the stock trim. How much horsepower can you effectively use with a street going tire and leaving the rims alone?

Nope 20" NT05Rs, fastest stock tire was an 11.27 hero pass by NYTony, see the drag times thread sticky on top of page.
Another member has ran 10s with NT05 (non-drag radial) with some mods.
