Balancing Clutch/Flywheel

I am about to replace my clutch with a spec 3. I am going to reuse my stock flywheel after getting it resurfaced. My question is, do I need to get the clutch(spec 3) and flywheel balanced together or can I just reinstall. Thanks for all the input guys!

I'm pretty sure the clutch kit doesn't need to be balanced with the fw.

Both pieces should be neutral balanced from the factory and in a perfect world will bolt up w/o a balance problem.

FWIW- my best friend is a engine builder and would never send out a clutch/flywheel combo without verifying/balancing the assembly.

I would spend the extra $ and ensure both pieces are balanced together.

i sent my flywheel, flywheel bolts and clutch out to get balanced, they had to take some off both parts
