I've had a set of Pacesetter long tubes sitting around for a couple years. I sprayed them with exhaust manifold/header paint that has to be baked for it to work.

I've been saving up for an MM k member and now I'm thinking about baking the headers up to 350 like the directions say but have nothing big enough to fit them in. The other day it dawned on me I might be able to make a rack inside a 55 gallon drum and put a propane camping heater and a thermometer in there and cook them that way.

Anyone try this and have any luck? Im open to suggestions.

I'd take them to a shop that powdercoats and ask them to bake them for you. I'm sure they will for a few bucks or even free...

Been there. Done it. Friend setup a 180,000BTU salamander in front of a drum. Insulated the drum and put some foil around the front to keep heat in. Worked like a charm.
