Bad valvetrain noise

Should be an easy deal... You have the chain retention tool or w/e? If so you'll unbolt cams and take a magnet and suck the lash adjusters out and install new ones. I would be sure to slather them with oil or something though.

Chain retention tool? That would be nice... im assuming if i have that i could check the cam journal bearings without pulling the front timing cover? All i have is the valve spring compressor tool, was going to get each cylinder to tdc pry down the valve to relieve pressure from follower, pop off the follower and swap the lash adjusters (that have been soaking in oil) and reinstall the followers
