I would like to know more about the sound we should hear (Rattle) when the tensioner is going bad and when this sound should happen. From what i read it is only happening on cold startup or some while driving at a certain RPM. The reason i ask is because i have this rattle but only once and a while, when it does, it's only last for a few seconds. It never happens on cold start up even after a week of not driving my car. When the sound occur it is only after stoping my car for like 30 minutes after a ride (So when it's hot) It's not getting worst, it even seems less frequent since I had my oil change?? no lost in power!!!
