so i was finally able to pick up a shortblock for my car out of a 2001 cobra. got a pretty decent price on it as it needs piston rings, but one of the pistons is done. the space inbetween the rings crumbled out in pieces as soon as it came out of the block. what is the part number of just a single piston and how much would one run me?

also, it looks as though this thing has a block heater. i didnt even know that was an option. how many other people have this?

We have some new stock pistons in stock, they are $39.99, the block heaters were a factory ford option on cars delivered to cooler climates, we have seen quite a few of them! If the piston is damaged there may be more going on than you can see. Give us a call and we can make sure you dont put a junk engine back in!

Please let us know how we can help!
