Yeah John built it for me. It's been an amazing engine. It's been in my car for 3 years now making at least 950 rwhp, over 8k RPM, some bad computer systems and some shitty tuning. Engine has been though a lot, I think it's held up great.
The heads still good or is it a complete wash?
Well atleast those are good, ported heads and custom cams aren't cheap. Just rebuilding the bottom isn't terrible, compared to what it could be.
I'm assuming running those 2 races hurt did a bunch of that damage.
What fuel were you running??
I assume that when you went Motec that John tuned the car? Or am I wrong.
That's some catastrophic damage done, I wonder how much the other tuners and bad computer systems helped the damage along?
It's ugly. Short block is pretty much junk. 8 bent rods, smoked all 8 rod bearings, cylinders look bad, crank looks bad, Pistons don't look great.. Haven't pulled the mains off yet. :-(
Yeah I'll get her fixed and she will be even faster! Doing a couple other things as well while I have the chance.
