Anyone ever had a hobbs switch stop working? I believe that I may have an issue with mine but need to confirm. Last night I started going lean in the upper RPM's at WOT. Definitely a fueling problem as if my second pump wasn't coming on. At a quick glance everything is still hooked up and looks OK so I need to run some tests.

Fuel system is return style with dual 465's. It's been setup this way for over a year then all of a sudden this issue started happening. Just curious if anyone has experienced a hobb switch work fine then stop working.

You can bypass the hobbs switch by unplugging it and jumping the wires. If it goes you know the pump is good.

You can also just give the hobbs switch with a little shot of air from your air compressor and see if it'll engage the pump.
