Backup Camera Anyone?

I'd like to add a backup camera to my '14 GT500. Have the nav package, and am wondering if there are systems out there that I can hook in the nav screen without major surgery on wiring etc.

I've seen license plate bracket cam with rear view mirror display, but not too interested in that approach.

Anyone out there done this?

Well thanks. Just added another mod on to my to-do list.

It is easy depending on camera you get (I had to drill into underside of my bumper behind the plastic piece that holds in the license plate bulbs.)

I got a unit from NAVTOOL INC , it allowed me to add a camera and use my dvd when I need it

I read earlier comments that the Cobra greeting stopped working after doing this upgrade.

Anyone here have that or other problems?

I just spoke to Costal and confirmed they have the Lockpick unit that works with 13/14 GT500s...if you have the stock Sync Nav System. Unit is $289+shipping. They don't sell cameras...

I'm ordering mine today!

I used the Coastal Lock Pic, and I didn't lose the Cobra Welcome Screen.

Hate to admit it but havin rear view camera in my fusion, but not in Shelby is a pain

Mine is Nav-TV. Works great and cobra stays. Lets you use navigation or backup camera when car is moving.

Amen, get so used to it and then getting in the Shelby and not having it sucks!
