Back spacing??? help

I don't remember the back spacing for my rear end...

I am using a 98 GT SRA... can someone please tell my the correct backspacing.

Thanks I thought it was 5.5 but I am not sure and don't wanna spend the money on the wrong size.

I know for the 99-04's it's 6 1/2"s and those older rears are narrower from what I've been told. Somebody I'm sure will chime in though that's certain on it.

This should help...

Stock 17" x 9" wheel offset = 26mm

(26mm)/(25.4mm/in) = 1.024in

1/2 Wheel Width = 4.5in

OEM wheel backspacing = (4.5in) + (1.024in) = 5.524in

5.5 BS with a 15X10 wheel will be perfect with that rearend.
