It's not super clean. If you used one of these modulators you quickly see the drawbacks in quality of the sound and method. It's a good halfway point but if you desire better, you'll toss that FM frequency junk.

Been using it for 6 months and it's clean, hence why I said they're definitely not like they used to be...and it's clean cause it resides in the center console armrest compartment, out of sight.

Got both models both are junk. Not impressed with the newer one and static and vol capping. It's good for going to the store but a road trip will quickly show faults

Welp, your opinion and my opinion obviously differ. I have no static, no vol capping and if you’re looking for the finest sound, you wouldn’t be listening through a stock Mach system to begin with.
