this may seem like a dumb question, but iwas wondering if someone out there can tell me how to install my autometer tach(it has got the 4 wires-ground etc..) I have also seen that brothers performance sells a distributorless tach driver(says it allows simple installation of autometer tach) for 4.6 distributorless cars. One thing is for sure, I am NOT going to drill any holes an baby! Anyone out there could tell me how to install this tach, or what I should do, please any help. Also has anyone out there used this autometer tach driver, is it worth it? How does that connect? thanks. Robert.

I dont have an autometer tach but I did pick up the RPM signal for my wideband to measure RPM's. I used pin #26 off of the PCM, orange wire. Just an idea if you are looking for a RPM signal.
Good Luck

You need a tach adaptor-- Autometer or FRPP or similar. Instructions are on the Autometer web site, which is excellent: www.autometer.com. UPR and PHP sell a mounting bracket, which is copied from a guy in Ottawa who posts on Modularfords.com.
