Auto Transmission Problem??

I have an auto and started to have this problem...when I would get on it at wot the car will not do a 1-2 shift. Instead it bounces or hits the rev limiter and will not shift to second unless I let off the gas.
When I drive normal the trans shifts perfect and also at wot it will shift every other gear perfect except the 1-2 shift. There is no noise and it feel good. Do you think the trans is going bad?? A friend of mine said his camaro would do the same thing and it was his knock sensor, could that be it?? Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks! :shrug:

ive heard of this happening to alot of cars. my explorer even does it. im not quit shure what causes it tho.

Mine did that to me last weekend, I just changed the fluid/filter. low miles, wierd.
like you said, only on wot, otherwise works fine.

Mine had the same problem.. it was the timming on the shift points on the tranny.. it was a tune promblem.. do u have a tune or chip ?

I just have a predator tuner no chip or tune...Im going for a dyno on thursday maybe it will help...

it sure will.. even with the predator it can still happen did u advance your shift points?
