I want to go auto (temporarily) when I send my T56 out to get built/faceplated (currently T56/TOB sleeve/26 spline/alum fly/mcleod rxt twin disk/anti venom mod/etc).
C4 or TH400? I heard the C4 will be cheaper but the 400 will be more reliable. I'm looking to put down about 800whp on E85 plus a small shot, stock motor kenne bell car until I can afford to build a motor (more cubes, higher comp, rev it to 7500).
My car obviously isn't light enough but it won't make enough for a powerglide right when I have a built motor right? (shooting for 1k whp)
Are there any other inexpensive reliable options out there?
Any insight of somewhere to buy a newly built one for my application?
What parts would I need aside from the obvious convertor and driveshaft?
What size stall?
