Auto Meter Oil Pres. Gauge Issue

Well i got my car back from the body shop and for some weird reason the Autometer Oil Pressure gause goes straight to Beyond 100 PSI and doesnt move. What could cause this? Think its just a loose wire to the send? Help me out fellow stang owners!

Common guys i need help so please give me some info...PLEASE!!!

Check to see if your getting power to the sender or if you have a short somewhere after the bodyshop got done with it. Also if you fry a gauge they will peg out. Test the sender first and then the guage to see if somebody shorted it out.

what he said check the sending unit make sure its nice and tight then check the conncection. is it a electrical or mechanical gauge?
