Looking for a new authorized dealer to buy from in Houston, Tx. I don’t really like using bigger stores like Academy or Bass Pro shop. If any of y’all have any suggestions that live in the area, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Gun stores are everywhere in Houston. The semi famous one is Collectors Firearms.

Why don’t you like buying from Academy or Cabelas? If the have good deal I would not hesitate.

I just like to support the smaller family owned businesses. Plus I’ve had better experiences with mom and pop shops vs big box stores.

I just buy from Academy or PSA. If it is from PSA, I use my gun club for the FFL transfer.

Unless it is a .50 BMG, I won't buy used.

I have been using budsgunshop. They have special pricing for qualified professionals. Even with paying the local FFL dealer transfer fee, I'm saving money.

Even if you don't qualify for the special pricing, their prices are very good.

I understand supporting local businesses , but sometimes it cost too much.
