I have an Alpine head unit that I want to get installed in the snake. Nothing against the 6-disc that is in there, but the Alpine is an MP3 disc player and I have a lot of MP3 discs that I'd rather use than burning things to CD's. It's an Alpine CDA-7894 and I already have the Alpine XM tuner.
The thing is I want a decent install and my shop is back in NY. I am not going up there with the snake anytime soon and I was wondering if anyone in the norther virginia area knows a good shop that are not shit job artists.
I am undoubtedly leaving everything factory except the head unit, since I don't want to start tearing into the snake to install amps, wiring and speakers (not to mention the added weight). Anyone with aftermarket decks have any issues plugging up to the factory harness?
