Hi all-

Backing into the garage and the front vendor kissed the wall enough to rub wall paint into my car paint :fm:. I tried to polish, wax it out. Any suggestions?

Thx in advance,
Gary

If it's just on the surface than you should be able to clay bar it out. Wash and claybar at the same time- works on most minor scratches and paint transfers for me.

Until the pics show up I'll just generalize.

If the paint transferred from the wall to the car you should be able to remove it with no trace of damage to the car's paint.

But if the fender is dented or the car's paint is scratched below the color coat you will need a repaint.

Start out with claying the area with the paint transfer. If you have the blue, mild clay use it first. if it doesn't remove the paint, move onto the red, aggressive clay. The red clay will marr your clearcoat, requiring a polish to perfect the paint again. If the clay cannot remove it all you will have to use a more aggressive method. Probably a rotary polisher with a medium cutting compound.
