Cool. I think I have a pic of your car from the Test and Tune. I took it while I was waiting for the racing to start. I'll email it to you. It's huge.

Were you at the meeting today? I was there. I was sitting at the opposite end of the table from Kristen. Sounds like they want to keep the chapter going and are putting together a new calendar for 05. They did have an 05 GT there that they were letting us drive. I didn't stay to drive it, if it was a Cobra then I would have stuck around for a spin.
Speedworld is having a test & tune on Dec 31 from 9 am until 3 in the afternoon. Then they are talking about bon-fires and partying the newyears in. I think I might take the Cobra out there and see what I can run with it.

I'm not much of a 1/4 mile guy either, but I like to go out once or twice a year. Thanks for the info on the Club. I believe NIghtenforcer and torqued are in your club. Tom and Mark Newhall? Anyway, if you have any interest in joining the SVTOA let me know. Great group of guys!64.5 07K said:There are a few more Cobras around Tucson and I'm surprised you haven't
hooked up with them. Try the So. Az. Mustang Club and you'll find some
speed freaks who do the 1/4 mile. Then, there are a few, me included, who do not appreciated the 1/4 mile scene, but we have some pretty nice
Cobras. Mine is a 31k mile Teal '93.
Our club meetings are the 3rd Tues. of the month and are held at Holmes
Tuttle Ford at the Auto Mall in the used car area. Show up and introduce
youself to Chris Carrol, club president, and find some 1/4 mile competition AND
a good club of which to be a member.

and I'm in the process of completing it. Sounds like a pretty good group and
you seem to get around. I'd be interested in local activities: my travelling-
to-shows is sometimes questionable due to L4-L5 disc problems exascerbated
by the long term seated position. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool clutch man, but the
above problem brings about numbness in the sole of my left/clutch foot....
Seems to me the Newhall name is familiar, tho I don't know everyone in the
club.
And, coincidently, someone in SVTOA forwarded me an Auto Trader ad less
than 3 weeks ago that got me and #629 together. :coolman:
