Are the hood vents blocked off?

Yeah, that’s how they come. This is my third Cobra too (one 2,000 miles from the original owner, a 14,000 mile one and this, 9,000 mile one) and all the liners looked the same. The only difference this time was the vent cover was removed on this one. I even bought Ford liners for all 3 of them the the new liners looked like this too.

You could do the hood blanket mod and cut the vent flaps off, that's what I did when I first bought my 03 all those years ago.

Yes its painted underneath, but it doesnt appear clear coated lioe the top is.

Plus side to removing vent covers is heat extraction.
Downside to removing vent covers is rain gets in. Not that alot of yall have problems with rain in the garage.
