I am about to have a plenum, SBTB, 90mm MAF, and an sct tuner installed. currently i have a CAI and exhaust, my quesion is do i need to install gauges(boost,a/f,oil pressure, fuel pressure)? i know they help monitor everything to make sure your engine doesn't detonate, but with those mods, are they needed or should i just spend the money elsewhere, feedback needed, thanks

It's nice insurance to have, you can diagnose problems from reading them obviously as well.

You might as well get them now, so you have them for whatever else you do.

Boost is for bragging rights
A/F is useless, you want a wideband
Oil pressure and fuel pressure I would buy because those are the most important of the gauges you listed in my opinion

Yes! lol. Pick up a fuel pressure, wideband, boost, and tranny gauge. Those are some of the most important gauges there to monitor the most vital parts on our trucks.

Your stock MAF is fine the SBTB and Plenum aren't going to give you any real kick in the pants results. You might want to spend your money on a FTVB a 6# lower, Mafia and a hand held tuner.
