What would cause an aid to skip 2nd gear? It shifts like it was never there. Goes from first to third like it was designed to lol.

does it not want to downshift when you give it gas? does it go into 4th gear? check the tv cable and grommet. it goes from the transmission to the throttle body and connects just under it. there should be a little brown grommet holding a plastic socket from the tv cable in place to a bracket. also, to adjust the rtv cable, unhook it by pulling it out of the grommet, pull the little white tab out and let the sleeve go to it's natural position without tension on it, and that should put the ball socket on the sleeve directly below the grommet.

Drove it a little yesterday but in town. Now it seems like its going into second and immediately shifting out.
