Anyone with Steeda CAI help please!!!

I just got my Steeda CAI and I was wondering if you must somehow use the screen off of the factory air cleaner box that is between the MAF meter and the air filter? I'm not seeing how it will fit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, take it off.

Be sure the metal bracket does not rub against the AC lines.

You also have to rotate the meter 90 degrees to the up position to get the screws to line up.
