All 95 Cobra R rims require 275/40/17's for their 17x9 rims.

All 03-04 Cobras come with 275/40/17's on their 17x9 wheels.

That is the required tire for that rim.

Have 17x9 03 cobra wheels with 275s and its not bad. It will pull pretty bad on some roads, but the car is lowered as well. They rub a tad on the sway bar on full lock turns sometimes.

275's here and I love them, the fact that they grab the ruts in the road is well worth the extra grip, our cars understeer like hell you better believe I'm gonna run the fattest meats I can up front :)

I noticed they rubbed a little, and was wondering if anyone had the same issue...also, it looks like they stick out a little past the wheel wells

I had 17x9 R's all 'round with old 275/40/17 Comp TA's. No problems. The front rims DID stick out ov the wheelwells a bit too much for my liking though.

Now we've got 18x9 Bullits up front with 275 KDW's, again, no problems, not a rub mark on the tire, and thats after a few thousand HARD miles...

Thats my girl's car, when i get MY 96-98 Cobra, it WILL have 285's or 295's up front on 9" or wider rims, and it WILL work. I'll take a bit ov rubbing and a lot ov road pull anyday if it means more meat on the road. For performance and looks you cant beat it, in my opinion.

Now, if i could get a DD 10'" or 10.5" rim up front, with a 315...

I have 275's all the way around and mine is lowred and no rubbing issues. When I had Kumho's on I had alot of road pull so I switched to Riken Raptors and couldnt be happier no more pull.

Ok, now I'm not worried anymore...I'll just have to get spacers for the rears to match up with how the fronts stick out

Pretty much have always ran 275 up front. I had these rims from my 03, so never really ran the stock 96 cobra rims. Never had any rubbing issues. Plus you can rotate all 4 tires, and get a little longer life. Only get pulling from one side or the other on really rutty roads.

i have 245 on 95 cobra r's on the front of my cobra and you can tell the tires are not wide enough for the rim. 255-275 look about right. I bought the car with the 245s on the front and they are brand new, so I wont be buying new ones.

275 25s on 18x9s up front. Lowered nearly 2" up front.
No rubbing what so ever. I've been using 275s for years.
