Anyone with 20's on their 12 boss?

I have been looking for wheels since I bought my comp orange boss back in early November, and I can't seem to make up my mind.

A google search didn't show much, and the only 12's I found just didn't look right, it's hard to explain. I have never had a problem picking out good looking wheels for my cars and getting tons of compliments but the 12 boss is a different animal. Something with the decals that make it extremely finicky when it comes to appearance mods.

Looking to see if anyone here has put 20's on their 2012 Boss, and if so could they post up some pictures. I may end up going 19 but some style wheels that are 19 look too small on this car.

Pretty much narrowed down to true forged chicanes with black centers, piano black f14's or piano black cf10's. Any help is appreciated!

Yea that does look awesome. It's a 13 though! Wheels are much easier to pick out for the 13's. I had a GHIG that had 20 inch velgens and they looked great.

Personally if you want to track the car steer clear of 20s. Between the lack of sidewall and weight they are not exactly the best thing. I went from the stock 19 Boss 302 rims weighing at 34# to Avant Garde rims weighing 26# and you can really feel the weight loss.

I agree, picking rims is very hard for the boss, but if you find the right rims they look great. Even 18's can fit the car really well if the right rim is chosen.

Personally went 19's on my 2012 Boss 302 and they seem to fit the car fine. Will need to finally lower the car to make it look perfect as the rear wheel gap is insane.

Yea I understand what you are saying. I lowered mine with the t springs so I guess I will just pick a wheel and if it doesn't look right, sell them and pick another lol.

Oh wait...that's me

And while I would normally agree with some about size and weight....It all depends on your tire and wheel choice. My wheels weigh in at 29lbs(forged 3pc) and I've found 20s that weigh less(just either cost more, or I didn't like the design for my car). As far as lack of sidewall...stock on the LS is 255/40/19 & 285/35/19....I'm running 255/35 & 295/35 and Michelin PSS run wider than most brands. Will I run this on the track? Why not? Wider track, stickier tires, less weight than stock....I'm not racing SCCA with them, just a track day here and there

I agree with you there. If I have a track day, it's just for a little fun and not competition.

I wish I did 20's since I use the OEM LS wheels for trackdays. The 19x11 just doesn't have that many good tire options and I want something taller than the 305/30 I am running right now.

I agree on the 305/30/19 being just a little too short. Finding a tire for a 19x11 rear wheel is difficult. The 325/30 is about right in height, but I think it sticks out from the fender just a bit more than I want. A 315/30 would be an improvement but nobody makes this size. I wish the Michelin PSS was available in the 315
