I am doing some work to the rear end of my car and I came across these IRS Sub frame Support Brackets from billet flow and also from steeda. Is anyone out there using these and if so how was the install and how are they working for you???

its one of the plethora of mods that work together to remove compliance from the irs subassembly. by themselves they wont do much, but every little bit helps.

the rear mounting bracket for the irs subframe is cantilevered and flexes under load. this helps reduce the flex by transferring the load into the inner wheelhouse which is a moderately strong place so it can take it.

i always wondered about hte steeda ones because they only have two holes and i would be concerned about egging of the holes over time.

vince made mine so they have four bolts and a backing plate.

if i were building a racecar i'd cut the mounting eye off the subframe cradle entirely and replace it with a gusseted bracket that bolts solidly to the frame rail.
