You could tell that they were afraid to do anything with the other cars, yet they were havin some fun with the cobra
The driver was Woods Brother Winston Cup driver of the Motorcraft Taurus #21, "Elliot Sadler". For some reason Ford Motor Copy, Ford Racing and Edsel Ford are star struck with Elliot Sadler.
Sadler will move to Robert Yates racing in 2003 Winston Cup season, replacing Ricky Rudd. He will be driving the #36 M& M car that is currently a Pontiac and driven by Kenny Schrader. Of course the #36 Pontiac will miracuously transform itself to a Taurus in 2003. Robert Yates will give up the #28, the number Davey Alison helped make famous.
In exchange for Elliot Sadler, it appears Ford will give up rpoviding Taurus' to Penske. Penske will move to Dodge Intrepids, moving Rusty Wallace and quite probably the rookie of the year Ryan Newman to Dodge. Letting Ryan Newman go to Dodge, in my opinion, is a very bad decision.
