I ended up buying a property with a house only it to demo the house to build a new building for my business. I took anything I could out of the house which included the copper plumbing tubing. I have it separated between clean copper with no brass, copper with no brass but its painted white and I also have tubing used for forced hot water heat. The price for clean copper is a lot better so my question is does the copper with paint on it qualify as clean copper? Called a bunch of scrap yards the best price I found was about $2.50 a pound for clean copper is that decent?
Thanks

Painted is #2 as stated. The price will vary by location kinda like gasoline. I don't know what they are paying here (Florida) as of right now tho.
