Need some insight before I purchase some toyo r888s.. I'm currently running nt05 295/35/18s and need to replace them. Just wondering if 305/35/18s will fit and not rub? My car is lowered 1.5" also. Please let me know if you have experience running this size or larger.

thanks in advance

It could rub. I have a custom off set from True Forged, but I wish I knew what the off set was. Without the right off set, they very well could rub, especially with a 1.5" drop

Thanks troponin.. The rear offset is +43 on my setup, backspacing is 7.20 and there 10" wide. Hopefully they don't rub, just wanna make sure before buying.

im pretty sure you will be fine, i run 18x11 forgestars with 305/35/18 and they dont rub at all, when the car is off the ground the tire rubs against the little bumpstop bracket but once down on the ground i have clearance.

I run a set of NT01's 305/35/18 on GT4 rims. No rub at all. I'll be running a 305/40/18 Mickey Thompson here in a few weeks, don't expect any issues.

How do you like the Nittos? I ran 295/30/18 R888's last year, but was thinking of switching to those Nittos or maybe MT tires this year.

The 295 R888's fit fine in the rear with no rubbing, though they do stick out ever so slightly past the fender on my 18X10 SVE Drifts. They almost rub in the front if you do a full circle turn but it's honestly fine for normal driving.
