Anyone running radial fronts (ex. 185/55/17) with fat bias-ply rears (ex. 28x12.5x15)? I know they say don't mix them but what's the difference than running stock front tires and slicks like some do at the track. I want to buy fat and skinnies 17/15 set-up and really like the Hoosier QuickTime Pro and M/T E.T Streets. I saw a guy selling a set of wheels with M&H 185/55/17 radial fronts but wheels need rear tires so I was debating on them. Just trying to see how much it's going to run me? Do the bias-ply drag tires HAVE to run tubes? What is the reason for tubes?
