Better off buying pickups and smaller cargo vans to make money renting out

Not worth it for a sports car. You tuber Thestradman put his Audi R8 on Turo and i think he broke even after everything was said and done so he stopped doing it.

If you do it, please govern it to 5 - 10 mph over the local speed limit. A friend of mine rented out his turbo VW 4 door and a renter blew it up doing 125 mph on a Utah highway. It was left on the side of the road. He had to have it towed back to Nevada and is still fighting with insurance to get the tow and damages covered.

I would also fit it with a dashcam that you can pull up on your phone or desktop at anytime to see how the person is driving your vehicle.

Make sure they have current insurance, get a copy of their Declarations page, agent's name, number and email address and call him or her to ensure they will be covered and that the policy is in effect.

Too many risks IMO. Do as you will though.
