Anyone Polish or dip there Svttp rims?

So these rims are starting to grow on me but I'm not a fan of dark grey rims on a Kona Blue car. I like them on light colors and even black but I like a aluminum or chrome rim on dark blue.

Anyone know what they look like under the paint? Can they be acid dipped and chromed or even painted a lighter silver? Am I wishful thinking?

I've seen these for sale in one the forums... i can't remember exactly what was done to them but they grey had been stripped down to chrome and they looked pretty slick..
