Anyone know What cams to put in an 01 GT?

One of my buddy's has an 01 GT w/ the PI heads and he called crane and crower cams. Both manufacturers couldn't give him a straight answer. He wants to have a 550 lift would the valve clearance be ok? Please help thanx.

tell him to go pick up the new MM&FF, they swap cames in an 01-03 GT. they put crane cams in and made 50hp. it had a 550 lift
