Allocations were handed out, based on Mustang sales. Dealerships that didn't sell enough Mustangs, were entered into a lottery, to get allocation. This is how our local dealership got their allocation. It is pretty much the same as with the GT500, except they make more GT500's. Ford is not going to build as many Boss 302's as they can sell. The 2012MY allocations have already been handed out, and there are no more. My local dealer does not know if they will get a 2013 allocation yet, but would probably be able to work a deal with another dealership, to get one for us. Luckily, the economy is working in our favor here. Frankly, I do not understand all of the animosity towards the Boss, here. Some like straightline speed, and some like corners. I know what it takes to build a Mustang that handles like a Boss, and is sorted like a Boss................ and it is alot of hard work and research. Not to mention the fact, when you go to sell your modified Mustang, you get NOTHING for all of that hard work, except the fear that you thrashed the car.
