I might. Just depends. Not sure the weather will cooperate though.

Yeah, weather will be iffy. I can make it out there in anything but ice/snow. Doubt your car leaves the garage if it's raining though.

I'm down, I need a tune pretty bad.

This would be a dyno day only. Jump on the dyno, make a few pulls, jump back off. John might be able to tune after the day is done, but that would have to be arranged through him.

John is a good tuner and very well respected. My car is currently tuned by him. However, I will not make it because the weather will be shit for sure and I wont drive my car unless its completely dry and sunny. Also I am waiting till july to get retuned because rumor has it that Rick from Amazon will be flying out to do a dyno day at The Powerhouse in Enumclaw and I would like to see what he can do with a tune on my car.

If you only knew. I probably have more miles on my car than several of you put together and more snow and rain time than all of you put together lol! Was my DD for the first 4 years.
Now. The 93,....well thats a different story. You may see it once in a great while.

John did my recent tune as well. I can say that I'm very pleased with the results. My car already had a custom dyno tune on it from Blue Oval Performance down in Vancouver. John was able to pick up 10whp/30wtq over their tune and my drive-ability has improved. No more stall issue, better mileage, and more power. Can't argue with that.

I know Amazon is a board sponsor, and I have heard great things, but I doubt they'll be able to improve over one of John's tunes. Keep us posted though.

I've seen your Mysti in person before and it looked damn good. I assumed it was a sunny day only type car. Looks like you maintained that paint rather well.

We had tried to do a dyno day not to long ago with Amazon comming out here.

As far as how Amazon tunes go........They got me down to a 12.3 in my 03 HD with a mail order tune with more to go. Stock block and a 2.3 KB with supporting mods. I won't knock HP Ranch but I have to say just the opposite of what you said.

There are a few of us HD and L owners as well as some Mustang folks that are going to try and take the speed demon award away from the East Coast and Rick at Amazon is going to be a big part of that.

we are planning for spring before the race season starts out there..we dont want to wait as late as July.. it will be sooner than that..
we tried to set up a tuning event at HP Ranch but in the end John declined to let us use his shop so it is being set up elsewhere this time...keep posted for details.. we should be posting them after the holidays are over

for those of you who already have one of Ricks tuned emailed to you.. this is a good reason to wait until he can come out there and tune you in your locale..

a tuner who is willing to travel to his customers is getting harder to find..but Rick has always been willing to travel...

I can't wait for this! No rain in sight. Looking forward to seeing what the tune + the new pulley and x-pipe will put me at.

Hopefully it's a non-humid day. If it is, a dyno tune should get you around 460whp/480wtq would be my guess. Did you put new plugs in and gap them down after the pulley got put on?

Hmm. My 04s not ready but my 93 is. Maybe I'll give it a run if the weather is good.

At this point we've got a full list of 25, but John is going to try and dyno as many cars as he can. Feel free to roll out, and he'll get you on the rollers if someone doesn't show, or if there's time at the end.

I won't be able to make it to my own dyno day. :nonono:
Couldn't get the day off work.

No, James hasn't done that yet. Maybe I should tell him to this week before the dyno.
