Anyone in the Navy?

I'm considering enlisting in the Navy, and I was wondering if anyone here is currently in, or is retired from the Navy.

I want a perspective that isnt all the recruiter, someone that can help me make an accurate decision.

I'll be checking this thread, although I think I'd rather a PM.

Nice, my hats off to you guys who choose to go career in the military! So are you retired now, or are you looking to start up your own business, or doing something else?
