Anyone heard of MM CC plate failure?

Not saying i have this, but i have heard of some issues with the spherical bushing going bad? I had mine installed by a performance shop a long time ago so i cant verify how they went in, but later developed an odd noise that is still yet to be determined because it occurs so randomly.

One idea I had heard was that the stock struts have too much travel when the car is lowered, so at the top end, they hit the strut mounts which damage the bushings. It seems like a legitimate possibility as i have already replaced one strut that somehow ended up bent.

Anyone got any input on that?

i think they offer a lifetime warranty on the spherical bushing. they say not to grease them because this will attract dirt and cause the bushing to fail-voiding the warranty

Only seen em fail when the installer does not follow the instructions properly / leaves em with no spacer on the top or bottom.

Not at all, but warranty problems with them I've never heard of (if there was a problem to begin with)

That's generally the cause of any failure that I've heard about.
