Anyone have issue with stock wheels changing colors?

Had this issue with an M3 I had, they ended up replacing all 4 wheels. Said it was due to brake dust/heat from brakes. Apparently it was a common issue. I plan on taking it to ford as I have other issue I need them to look at too.


This is on all 4 wheels, mainly the front. They look terrible!!!!

No. They are the premium 19's

Garage kept washed once sometimes twice a week. Like I said this was a known problem with m3's. BMW ended up replacing all 4.

Btw that is not on the surface, it is underneath the clear on the wheels.


Looks like the BMR hammertone stuff.
