So I currently have my car tuned on an SCT chip and wanted to be able to do some data logging so I purchased a X4 to do so. I figured I would just have my tuner send me my tune file, remove the chip and upload the handheld and be good. Well turns out that the place that tuned my car doesnt keep all of their tune files and they were not able to find it. Said I would need to just bring the car in for a re-tune and they would give me a "deal"
Anyone know if this is the case or can places just pull the tune from the chip? Feel like I am getting screwed here!
