One the back of the rear view mirror there is a connector with wires exposed. The yellow and black wire is ground and the blue wire is switched power. The power cord has two flat pins on it. The pins slide into the same female holes that the yellow/black and blue wires do on the mirror. The black wire pairs with the yellow/black mirror wire and the red wire pairs with the mirror blue wire.
