So I have figured out after blowing a couple fuses that run the driver's power seat that there is probably a short somewhere. I have very little experience with electrical systems and was hoping for some advice on the best place to start looking for a short. Thanks in advance!

yea this is a somewhat common problem at my dealer. get a flashlight and go look under your seat and check all the wires carefully. usually what happens is if your moving your seat sometimes the wire gets caught in the track and wil pinch it and short it out. if you can find any breaks in the wire. get a DMM and uplug the connector at the seat side not the body side where it gives power to the seat. now take the seat connector and set your DMM to test for continuity or even just resistance from one oend of each wire to the other. its not too hard, just time consuming. but diagnosing electrical problems are. i think i explained it ok about how to do it. if you got any other questions PM me or something.
