If you have ever disassembled a secondary tensioner before... Is there a small washer/restrictor at the base of the plunger that has an orifice to regulate oil pressure and thus chain tension?
Reading some patent documentation, it appears there is a check valve in the tensioner that regulates the oil pressure and no washer. As I was reassembling mine someone mentioned that there is supposed to be a washer/restrictor, but I don't recall seeing one when I pulled it apart.
Thanks,
