Anyone ever been rejected from joining a forum?

I bought an escort zx2 and was trying to join the forum called teamzx2.com and when I joined it saiD I'll need a moderators approval. And then this morning I get an e-mail saying my account wasn't approved cause I didn't meet the requirements? What do they base this on? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I mean what do I have to do to be able to join? Write a letter, 3 fords of identification? I don't understand how they make that decision.

I've been denied at a few forums because I don't have an ISP email address.

Here lately, people are trying so hard to filter out the spam, that potential members are getting denied. It sucks, and counterproductive.

use a real email account to gain access.

all the DSM sites i know require real email accounts (not hotmail/gmail) to gain access to make it harder for spammers//scammers. I usually use my dads SBCyahoo account for this.
