Rear end from a 78 Lincoln Versailles with factory Disc Brakes.

I'm just trying to see if anyone has done this type of swap on a terminator. I desperately need to get the IRS outta my car, with my new set up I don't wanna risk breaking an axle.

I have a local guy that's willing to hook me up fairly cheap with this rear end so I welcome any advice please don't hesitate to advise, thank you.

sorry but it wont fit. Mustangs from 79-04 shared the same chassis so any 8.8 from those years will work. Im not sure why you dont just get a GT rear, they are so cheap its not even funny.

I have one in my '66 mustang. Those brakes are heavy. Alot of cast iron. It would take quite a bit of work to make it fit your terminator. An 8.8 would be alot cheaper/easier.
