Anyone build/have a Gen III Lightning replica?

I wasn't sure where to post this other than the Gen III section, which only contains 1 thread :dw: so I figured I would post it in Roadside.

Has anyone on this forum attempted to take a 2004-2008 F150 and turn it into a Gen III Lightning replica? I loved that truck the second I saw it and I am considering getting a used F150 beater later in the year, so I thought maybe it could turn into a project truck.

I don't even know where you would get replica parts for it in terms of the side skirts, exhaust, front/rear bumper and the tailgate. I know RKSport sells the front fenders made of fiberglass for $225 each.

Any ideas?

There's a video of one on here somewhere, doesn't show much of it but looks and sounds pretty cool. I don't think the owner is a member though.

While I agree that the GenIII didn't look all that great, I would like to see another Lightning. Hopefully looking as good as the GenII

My buddy built one. I think he too it to SEMA a few years ago. I'll see if he has any pics of it.
