Pondering seeing how easy it would be to get into a leftover 2013/2014 premium, or maaaaaybe base. Maaaaaybe base.

Have a 2011 yellow blaze GT premium with 99xx miles I'd be trading.

Do you work for a company that has Ford Partnership to get X plan pricing? If not, there are others ways to get X plan. Perhaps someone on this forum could get you an X plan PIN number to use.

That way, you will get the car cheap as possible without any negotiating, and you can buy from anyone...anywhere.

Pm'd you back.

Does this sound like a good deal?

2013 GT Premium MSRP $36100. No options besides ugly as smurf wheels and GHIG paint. They don't want to come down below $31400. Went to another dealer who offered to match that price for a 2013 black premium with brembos, rear camera, rear sensors, and 3.73's. Stickers for $38,900. Think I can use the fact the latter stickers for damn near 3k more with more options, and is matching that price to strong arm the first dealer to drop to 30k flat on the green premium with ugly wheels.

If they will hit 30k for the GHIG GT Premium is that a good deal?

4500 and whatever equity from the trade we discussed at that point. They were including some BS vinyl strip package on top of the MSRP that's why it doesn't quite even out.

Invoice on a $36100 car is probably $33700 or so. That's not exact, but not far off. I wouldn't pay more than $500 under that minus rebates. You can get X Plan on a 14 with no problem. X on a 2013 just isn't good enough at this point.

Funny thing is the base price on a 13 is actually more than a 14. msrp on a no option premium is 35k. So they really need to mark down the 13s they have left over.

Base prices on 14's went up $400 or $450, I believe.

Edit Base price on my base GT was $30300. Edmunds shows 2013 base as 30,750 and 2014 as $30900. Looks like 2 price level increases since the beginning of 2013.
