I took mom out to dinner tonight and we were talking about her home town. She grew up in Tulsa (in the city, no such thing as suburbs back then.) She moved to St. Louis when the war started (WWII), grandpa got a job at MacDonald-Douglas (he was a WWI vet.) We wondered if the house was still around. So we went back to my house and fired-up the PC, hit MapQuest and found the street address is still there. 1216 S. Jackson Ave. about two blocks from the Arkansas river. The house was new when they moved in 1921 the year she was born. Just wondering what kind of 'hood it was now? Back then I was told it was a nice middle class area. grandpa was a lawyer with a realtors lic. He bought land for oil companys. He did the same thing for Mac. Wondering if it's the same or is it a low income area now?

Thanks guys, I'll pass the info on to mom, Mark
