I’m looking to possibly purchase a flat head 1940’s Harley WLA/WLC. Does anyone have any advice of things I should look for on the bike? Or do you know a friend or someone who could point me in the right direction and provide me some help?
I’m trying to determine if the frame motor are original, do they have stamping marks VIN/Serial? Where are they located? Are they supposed to match each other? What would be a correct vin/serial for the time frame? Also trying to determine if the components, lights, horn etc are original. Where are places I should look for rust?
